We say ok because we see the industry and its current state — the consolidation, the gatekeeping, the endless promise of “more work soon” (looking at you, COVID and the strikes) that somehow keeps bouncing back worse than before. We’re not pretending it’s fine. We say ok the way you say it when you’ve sized something up and decided to take it head-on anyway.
We say thx because we were in it. Raised by it. Its stories are cemented in our subconscious. We acted in it, shot in it, edited in it, and got told no by it more times than we can count. It trained us. Every set we stood on, every role we read for, every pass we didn’t get — that was the education. The gratitude comes from knowing exactly what we took with us.
So that’s what we did. ok. thx productions exists to film, photograph, and capture life on our own terms — narrative work that means something, and yes, commercial work that pays for it. Great brands deserve great filmmakers too, and rent is a genre we’ve mastered.
Every project here starts the same way it ends: a client says ok, we deliver, they say thx. Acknowledgment in. Gratitude out. That’s the whole transaction, and we think it’s the most honest one in the business.

It started with a question: if I could take a time machine to my deathbed and learn that I’d never had any success as an actor, would I still have pursued it?
I sat with that one. Dug deep. And at the end of it, I decided — yes. I’d still be an actor. But that answer raised a harder question: why would I be on my deathbed with nothing to show for it? No lives influenced, changed, or woken up by a story I was part of.
That’s when it hit me. I flipped the question from why to why not. Why couldn’t I do that myself — when I already have the capability, the experience, and the education to?
So I brought in two people I trust, and ok. thx was born.

Instagram@torreylaamarTorrey is an actor, writer, and photographer with twenty years in the craft — thirteen of them professional. He holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is SAG-eligible, with screen credits including a supporting role in Blackbird, as well as appearances in Insatiable (Season 2) and Genius: Aretha (Season 3).
Across performing, writing, and filming, his work is centered on storytelling and the responsibility that comes with it. He approaches each discipline with the conviction that stories shape how people see the world — and that this influence demands honesty. Whether in a performance, a script, or behind the camera, he holds to a standard of brutal truthfulness, because the work is ultimately a portrayal of real life and the people living it.
As a writer, he develops original short and feature material, and he also coaches actors on craft and honest, grounded performance. As a photographer and videographer, he shoots headshots, portraits, events, and self-tapes. The throughline is constant: a commitment to telling the truth about people, clearly and without flinching.

He approaches production with a comprehensive eye, understanding how to build a project from initial concept all the way to final, polished delivery. Whether he's architecting a website from the ground up or diving deep into an edit to apply stunning visual effects, his ten-plus years behind the camera and in the editing bay have honed the technical proficiency and artistic vision to make any digital project shine.
Beyond the screen, his talents extend into the physical realm as a skilled 3D modeler and fabricator. Using industry-standard CAD and design software, he designs and manufactures highly detailed physical props, bringing digital concepts into reality through advanced 3D printing and precision laser engraving — expertly bridging the gap between imaginative digital design and real-world craftsmanship.
When he steps away from his workstations, he brings that same hands-on dedication to his personal passions. In his spare time he's an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loves both the thrill of riding and the gritty mechanical work behind the scenes. This blend of high-tech digital artistry and hands-on mechanical skill defines his uniquely driven approach to both career and hobbies.
